Learning how to overcome life's challenges can be tough. There you are strolling thru your daily routine sipping your morning latte, joking with your co-workers at work, visiting friends, or spending time with family on vacation, loving life. You are experiencing a normal, well planned daily routine looking forward to an exciting future. LIFE IS GOOD!
And then like a bolt of lightning you are struck down
A negative impact that is so powerful lands on your lap. It’s like a sudden wake up call that occurs without any warning that can change your emotional equilibrium & deteriorate your mental state. Sadly It can affect your health, your relationships, your financial situation and your happiness. In many cases it has the potential to change the course of your life.
Look back in your own life when this may have happened to you. Perhaps you are experiencing a negative situation right now that has left you physically weak, mentally exhausted and emotionally drained.
Our lives can change in an instant. A sudden traumatic car accident, loss of a job, break up of a relationship, decline in the economy, health issues, or the death of a love one could easily pull us into a downward spiral. It is never easy to overcome these challenges. Trying to adjust to these events can be extremely stressful because our lives have an element of being planned out. In fact 80% of our lives are patterned as such to create more balance. So, it is easy to understand that when a negative situation does occur our very first reaction is automatic, it is negative.
We become afraid of not knowing what is going to happen, the loss that could inevitably occur and the changes that may very well take place. Fear, doubt and worry become our ‘norm’ until we decide to take control of the situation, and our mindset.
We focus entirely on the negative situation completely forgetting there is another side to the story. And my friends, if you choose to see the 'other side of the story' from my own personal experience if you read my Bio I can tell you with complete confidence there definitely is 'another positive side to the story'.
Having the ability to adapt with resilience makes the uncertain things that happen to us in life more certain. Being resilient enables us to live a life that is based on choice, on our thoughts & actions rather than at the mercy of chance or habit. No matter what happens, with a positive mindset you can always bounce back with strength and a vigor that perhaps you have never experienced before.
We are resilient creatures and are made to Thrive!
