6 Ways to turn your Summer Vacation into an Adventure !

Manifest your Dream Vacation with these 6 Simple Steps

For many of us booking a summer vacation is a normal 'ho hum' practice we do on a regular basis.   BUT,   what if you created a Bucket List, an experience a person wants to accomplish in their life time?… before you ‘Kick the Bucket’  The psychology behind this thinking is considered to be a positive form of goal setting that promotes physical, spiritual and mental well being.

Bucket Lists allows us to replace our daily hectic schedule with a profound experience, an exciting adventure that is valued.  So before you just google your next vacation why don't you seriously sit back, relax and think of all the meaningful places you have always dreamt of vacationing to, no matter how risky, or how expensive and then GO!

“The purpose of life is to live it, to savour experience to the upmost, to reach out eagerly without fear for newer and richer experiences”

Eleanor Roosevelt

Many of us live our lives in a flurry of activities and work overload. Few people set goals so why would they consider writing down their most treasured vacation list ideas they want to do before they die? Take action and maximize every moment to live your life to the fullest.

Our last family vacation was experiencing the thrill of the river rapids in the Canadian Rockies.  This summer our family will be Hot Air Ballooning.  We set a goal back in the winter to book this and are looking forward to the surreal peace & amazing view above the clouds.

Here are some effective strategies to help ensure you are taking the time to create that treasured dream vacation you've always wanted to experience. Start thinking of the following when you begin to write your dream list:

1. What would you do if you knew you only had a few months to live?

2. What things would you do if you had unlimited time or money?

3. What have you always dreamt about but have never done before?

4. What are your biggest goals and dreams?

5. What experiences do you want to feel or have?

6. Any countries, places in the world you have always wanted to see?

I personally have been utilizing the above strategy visualizing my next ‘big adventure’ pretty much all my life.  I can honestly say thru the visualization process I've visited some extraordinary places and experienced life long memories.  Have fun booking your vacation of a lifetime!  Take action TODAY and start living the life of your dreams.
